Hypertangible: The Materiality of the Book as a Space for Creative Experimentation in the Digital Era
Conference 2025 'Research & Teaching - Exploring Academia'
AMPS Prague
My research focuses on the potential of the physical book as a communication tool in the digital age. Through articles, conferences, lectures, publications, and a doctoral thesis I completed in 2024, I explore what the materiality of the book can offer in an age of screens.
My choice and interest in the topic of materiality is a combination of different factors: a love of reading and writing, a background in architecture, studies in graphic design, a natural attraction to the form of the printed object, and an interest in understanding what a book is and what reading on paper entails.
